Chairs N Graces Home Interiors Ltd is a family run business specialising in French style hand painted furniture.
Our products are manufactured by skilled craftsmen in our own factory in China, using high quality materials,
and are distributed to numerous locations throughout Europe.
Product Information
At Chairs N Graces, we make every effort to ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest possible standard.
For us, this begins with high-quality materials, and excellent craftsmanship.
The timbers used in manufacture are purchased for their high density, ensuring that our furniture stands the
test of time. Where possible, we aim to source timbers from well-managed forests, and to recycle during the
manufacturing process. For example, we utilise off cuts of timber, turning them into MDF and HDF.
The specialist paints used for our furniture are purchased from America and are renowned for their durability
and excellent "heat protection" qualities. We produce pieces in several different colour finishes, from an
opalescent shade of white to a darker Ivory, with each collection having its own unique shade. A 10% sheen paint gives
pieces a silky satin finish, and many of our pieces also have a distressed finish, to replicate the passing of time.
Each piece of furniture undergoes rigorous quality checks throughout various stages of manufacture, ensuring that
the finished product is of the highest quality. At Chairs N Graces, we don't like to cut corners. Each joint is
glued and doweled, and if necessary is screwed or nailed to add extra strength. Drawers have dovetailed joints
and their undersides are fitted with a "bird tail" slide. A full panel divides each drawer space for added
stability. These are just a few examples of the attention to detail that we pride ourselves on, and that we
believe sets us apart from the rest.
In order to maintain that "unique" look, each piece of furniture will be different, as most are hand crafted by
skilled woodcarvers. Mass reproduction of the furniture couldn't possibly reproduce the individuality that is
achieved by our highly skilled staff, who use traditional methods passed down from generation to generation.
If every joint, hinge and corner post was perfect, the concept of a modern antique would be lost, and our
image of the past forgotten.
